Shelby Green began dancing at the age of two and has since received training in a diverse range of styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, hip hop, contemporary, clogging, musical theatre, and more. Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Shelby attended Southern Methodist University from 2018 to 2022, earning a BFA in Dance Performance with a minor in Musical Theatre. During their senior year, they were a company member of 6 O'Clock Dance Theatre, a contemporary ballet company under the direction of Zach Law-Ingram. 

 

After graduating, Shelby fell in love with contemporary dance and Gaga technique, leading them to move to Tel Aviv, Israel. There, they performed as a contracted dancer/actor with the National Theatre of Israel, *Habima*, appeared in music videos—including the 2024 Israeli Eurovision entry—and showcased their own choreography internationally, with premieres in Ohio, Tel Aviv, and at The Royal Conservatoire of Dance in The Hague. 

 

Upon relocating to New York City, Shelby founded Yaroque Dance Theatre, a contemporary dance company, and has collaborated with artists such as Noa Kirel and Jose Hollywood. Additionally, they have modeled for brands like Natasha Denona and L'Oréal. Shelby is excited to continue creating innovative and exciting work with talented collaborators in the future.
